Do you remember the old saying, “a dime’s worth of prevention is better than a dollar’s worth of cure”?

In the case of protecting your church from the expense of a lawsuit or fines or both as it pertains to protecting your members personal information it could well be a dime’s worth of prevention is better than $100,000 worth of cure!

You will do yourself and your church a BIG favor by taking the time to listen to this presentation by George Flint, partner at Flint-Lambert, PC. in Plano, Texas.

The good news is this is not a difficult problem to prevent. The bad news is that most churches completely overlook the need to have an program in place to stop these issues.

Jonathan SaenzJonathan Saenz joined Liberty Legal Institute in 2005 and serves as a Litigation Attorney and Director of Legislative Affairs. Mr. Saenz advocates for religious liberty, sanctity of human life and traditional conservative values in various state and federal cases, and in legislation as well. He has been featured in local, national and international media such as Agape Press, USA Radio, CBN, America Talks-Live, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle, KCBI-Dallas, KRLD-Dallas, KSBJ-Houston, Univision, and the local Fox, WB Channel 33 and NBC Channel 5 affiliates in Dallas.

Mr. Saenz worked full-time in Austin during the 2007 Texas Legislative session where he testified before numerous House and Senate committees of the Texas Legislature and worked with elected officials to advance conservative values. Mr. Saenz was licensed by the State of Texas to practice law in November of 2003 and was in private civil litigation practice prior to joining Liberty Legal Institute.

Mr. Saenz received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003. While in law school, he was active in moot court, mock trial and mediation competitions. He is currently an alumni advisor for the student group and conducts pro-life advocacy training seminars throughout the state. He is also a former vice-president of the Christian Legal Society at the University of Houston Law Center.

Mr. Saenz received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and was awarded the Commitment to Service to the Community Award for his volunteer service.
